New to Hamburg too?
I'm Ebbe. I want to meet new people in Hamburg.
I moved here a few months ago and was pretty caught up with a lot of things at first, but at some point it's time to start meeting people and building a social circle. While the anonymity of this wonderful city can genuinely be a nice thing, it can also make it harder to do just that. Sure, there are solutions out there like various apps and so on, but those tend to be hit or miss at best. To counter that in a perhaps slightly unconventional way, I put together this little page out of sheer boredom. The idea: you found the QR code you just scanned, and if you're maybe in a similar situation as me or simply want to meet someone new, feel free to reach out. ;)
A little bit about me: I'm 20 years old, I enjoy going for runs, I listen to a lot of music (lots of vinyl records), I like going for walks, cooking, I do lighting tech on the side (mainly for concerts), and I enjoy going to raves or just heading out for a fun drink.
Ich bin vor ein paar Monaten hierher gezogen und war zu Anfang erst mal mit viel beschäftigt, aber irgendwann ist es auch mal an der Zeit, Bekanntschaften zu knüpfen und sich ein Umfeld aufzubauen. Auch wenn die Anonymität dieser wunderbaren Stadt wirklich schön sein kann, macht sie es einem unter Umständen schwer, eben das zu schaffen. Natürlich gibt es hier Lösungen wie verschiedene Apps etc., aber diese sind gerade eher nur mäßig funktional. Um auf eine vielleicht etwas unkonventionelle Art dem ein bisschen entgegenzuwirken, habe ich aus mehr oder minder Langeweile diese kleine Seite entwickelt. Die Idee: Du findest den QR-Code, den du gerade gescannt hast, und wenn du vielleicht in einer ähnlichen Lage wie ich bist oder einfach jemanden Neues kennenlernen willst, kannst du dich liebend gerne melden. ;)
Ein bisschen was zu mir: Ich bin 20 Jahre alt, gehe gerne laufen, höre viel und gerne Musik (viele Schallplatten), gehe gerne spazieren, koche gerne, mache nebenher Lichttechnik (hauptsächlich für Konzerte) und gehe gerne mal auf Raves oder einfach mal auf ein Spaßgetränk raus.

— *********I've known Ebbe since second grade, which — when I think about it — is an inhumanly long time. Over that span, it's by no means a given to get to know someone and stay good friends for over 12 years. He had some obstacles to overcome during his school years, as I witnessed first-hand. Through that time — and this has to be acknowledged — he came out stronger and tougher, and grew enormously as a person. If I had to sum him up in a few traits, I'd say he's an immensely strong-willed, reliable, compassionate, attractive 😉 and just genuinely kind guy who's down for whatever, no matter what kind of nonsense it involves. The only flaw, in my opinion, is that he has often put others and their opinions above his own — and in a handful of cases still does. Despite all that: you absolute legend.
